Java Macaques

Java Macaques live in many places around the world.  They can survive in almost any environment and tend to get along well with other monkeys as long as they range somewhere within the Macaque family.  Growing up I always wanted a monkey and found it quiet exciting when I saw monkeys at the zoo.  Yet, I found it even more exciting when I rarely even saw them living with people around Oak Hill, West Virginia (the town where I grew up.). After moving to Indiana my mother and I became very fascinated with the idea of owning a monkey.  So we began to look online.  A few times we encountered scam artists who wanted us to send 8,000 dollars over the internet or western union.  Eventually we encountered a lady named Debra Smalley and her husband who not only bred monkeys but also walabees, cougars, kangaroos, and other interesting animals.  We decided to give her a call.  Debra lives in Silver Lake, Indiana and sells Java Macaques for around 4,800 dollars to 5,600 dollars.  After contacting her we arranged to get a monkey.  When arriving there she showed us around the whole place.  We payed for our monkey and signed a receipt.  After 5 months we decided to get another monkey.  Again we turned to Debra and payed the same amount as the last monkey.  Java’s make great pets yet they have to wear diapers and drink from bottles and constantly be out to run.  You can not keep them caged up.  We now own two monkeys named Makiaha and Willy.

Today,  Nov. 20th 2014 President Obama plans to legalize the Immigrants that have come to the US illegally. President Obama tends to get rid of immigration laws with his power of Amnesty.  Today Obama plans to announce his new plan to protect millions of undocumented illegal immigrants in the US.  He claims he is able to do this without congress due to his amnesty of executive order. After his announcement on Thursday he plans to hold a big celebration Friday, Nov, 21st in Vegas.

Obama allows people who are willing to vote for him into the US even if they break the laws.  But when it comes to anarchists who won’t vote he shows no mercy.  All the immigrants should be allowed into the US but not if they are wanting to come illegally.  illegal immigrant children get free college education when some of us who work very hard through high school can’t even get even money to pay for college.

Most US citizens believe that Obama has done so awful things.  But most people believe that this was the worst of the worst things he has ever done.  According to the Washington post the president is using the legallization of illegal immigrants to gain more votes for democrats himself.  According to usnews.com over 2,600 people who voted in 2012 were illegal immigrants and they all voted democrat.

Is Obama really ruining the United States for his own benefits or is he just trying to help mankind.  Comment your opinion below.

Unnamed poem by: Stephony Burghduff

A child; born into a world of hurt, where no one understands.                                                                                                               She takes her sketchbook opening it to a brand new page and draws the worlds cold hands.

Each finger stands for every year of hell she has endured.                                                                                                                         While each and every line she makes adds several several more.

The nail upon each year of hell are the people who’ve caused her pain.                                                                                            But each nail is painted red to show their hidden vein.

She draws a little diamond ring upon the middle finger.                                                                                                                            It symbolizes people stone like hearts; their kindness very meager.

There’s nothing else she wishes to live for, but her feeling remain unspoken.                                                                                  She closes her sketchbook hoping that one day the world will see her heart and the way it has been broken.

Who Are You?

Most of my blog posts have been about Anarchist events and news, but for once I’d like to talk to about a path that anarchist take and a path everyone should.  It has nothing to do with our beliefs or our ideas.  It has to do with you and what path you choose for yourself.

Growing up in society we are often ridiculed and mocked for who we choose to be; so we choose to be others.  We choose to hide who we are and be what others want us to become.  Most anarchists take ridicule very lightly.  We choose to walk on the path that we have laid out for ourselves instead of asking others to make a path for us.  From birth we are different.  Growing up we’ve made mistakes. And as we mature we realize our purpose in life, and not because we are anarchists.  But Because we see the world for what it really is.  We understand that we don’t have to be perfect in order to make it through life.  We make mistakes knowing that they are only mistakes and can be corrected in the future.

Who are you though? What is your purpose in life? Have you been born to follow others or have you been born to lay out and follow your own path? We are often misunderstood in life.  But have you ever heard the saying “Walk a mile in my shoes” well think about it.  If the people that walked into your life only to criticize you are put into the same exact situation that you are today they probably wouldn’t feel the same pain that you have felt because if they grew up in your shoes or walked in your shoes they wouldn’t walk the same exact way that you did.  So in a matter of speaking they wouldn’t know what your going through to the exact point no matter what.  The only person that ever knows exactly what your feeling and going through is you, the only person that can change it is you.  Don’t try to walk another persons path just because you or others don’t like your own.  Either change it or continue on that path and see where it leads because the only person that knows why you chose that path is you.

So in the end who are you? What path have you decided to take? Who have you decided to be? And where is your path leading you.  Is your path connected to someone else’s or are you ready to make a path where you can determine your own life?

“No one saves us but ourselves.                                                                                                                                                                                                       No one can and no one may.                                                                                                                                                                                                           We ourselves must walk the path.”

Food Not Bombs!

“Food Not Bombs” is an non-profit anarchist organization that protests war and poverty not only in the United States but all over the world.  This group tends to only serve vegetarian meals and tends to call needed attention towards homelessness.  “Foods Not Bombs” was founded in 1980 in Cambridge, Massachusetts.  While the people who participate in it now do not fully know the main person who started it they do know that a group of anti-nuclear activists started this program in an attempt to show the United States their wrong doing when it was discriminating against the homeless.

When the 1990’s came along “Food Not Bombs” had grown tremendously  and had already started 4 International groups in the US. alone.  By October 2011 more than 400 smaller groups and 16 International groups had been created all over the world.  Today many Anarchists are trying to show the whole world what “Food Not Bombs” has not only done for the homeless people across the world but what it has also done to open the hearts and minds of the people who participate in this organization.  “Food not Bombs” encourages people to help everyone in anyway they can instead of fighting and losing control of who they are and who they can be when they decide to help.

We Are Not What You Think

Anarchist are considered Dangerous and disastrous people. We are consider rule breakers and “problem creators”.  But are we really? Those who claim all these things about Anarchist are being biased (unfairly prejudiced for or against someone or something).

Anarchist like many other people have their good sides and their bad sides.  We are not bad just because we are Anarchist; we are bad because we are human.  Anarchists are just like every other person out there.  We can be good or bad.  We can be smart or Stupid.  We can be disastrous or helpful.  But having the title Anarchist does not give us the title bad, stupid, or disastrous.

Anarchist are defined by society as people who support an anarchy (the absence of a government or otherwise defined as chaos or mayhem.)  We are assumed to want nothing but complete freedom to rule in the way we want to and while that is somewhat true it is also very much false.

Anarchist do not necessarily believe in Anarchy and we do not believe in creating chaos and doing whatever we please without consequences.  Anarchist defined by an Anarchist would be a person who wants nothing but freedom to live without getting beat down in the streets for protesting or for not supporting the way the US. Government works.  We want to be able to be recognized as people who won’t stand for violence even though we are made out to be bombers and terrorists.

Anarchists and “The Pledge of Allegiance.”

As Anarchist we have all been asked why we don’t say the Pledge of Allegiance.  We’ve been called disrespectful and rude. We’ve been jumped on by our teachers, coworkers, family, or peers. But why do Anarchists not say the Pledge of Allegiance and does it really make them rude or disrespectful?  Anarchist do not pledge their Allegiance to anyone nor anything except to the own Anarchist groups or family’s.  They are not followers; they are leaders.  This does not make them disrespectful in any way.  Anarchists are willing to take a stand, willing to show other people that there are other ways of living life and standing up besides being apart of America.  Anarchists do not say the pledge; not because they want to be disrespectful or rude.  They don’t say it because they do not wish to follow the government and its ways.  It is not that we are not thankful for the men who died for us.  In fact we are thankful;  but we believe that the violence shouldn’t have been started in the first place.  Our government only stands for violence.  Our government only stands for their so called marketing and taxing.  Anarchists do not believe in those things.  We do not believe that saying the pledge even makes you apart of America.

“We must become bigger than we have been: more courageous, greater in spirit, larger in outlook. We must become members of a new race, overcoming petty prejudice, owing our ultimate allegiance not to nations but to our fellow men within the human community.”      Haile Selassie                                                                                                                                                                               Read more at http://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/quotes/h/haileselas540921.html#0CLeopwYaZSv8ZRW.99
